Max PC Safe is a wonderful application that allows users to encrypt and decrypt files in a few seconds. It has a nice and very intuitive user interface.
To encrypt or decrypt a file or folder, you just need to select it from the right side of the viewing pane. Once encrypted, the source file is automatically deleted for security reasons.
Unlike other similar programs, Max PC Safe doesn't have security levels, but you can go through the encryption process as many times as you want in order to make the security level of the file or folder higher. Each time it is encrypted, an additional .enx extension is added at the end of its name, and you can use a different password to make it harder to open the secured files. As the names of files and folders stay the same, you can easily identify them later.
It also provides an additional security option that allows you to mask the typed passwords, but if you want, it can be easily disabled by ticking a check box.
On the whole, Max PC Safe offers a different approach to encryption, but yet guarantees that your files and folders are secure.
